Sixteen teams from 7 nations participated at the 7th IMRC competition held in New South Wales Australia. The Australians took a slightly different approach whereby they had several tasks including for the first time a virtual reality component and scoring was using materials produced by their organisation. All reference materials were shared among participating teams in advance of the event.
The APPIN Team from NSW Australia took first prize followed by Zibo from China finishing second and Springvale from NSW Australia finishing third.
