Nashville Tennessee was the host city of the 3rd IMRB conference where 150 delegates from 14 nations were exposed to 27 papers. A facilitated workshop was conducted and it provided the opportunity for delegates to work through a complex mines rescue scenario based on a recent US mining incident.
IMRB members met and agreed to select a secretary/treasurer to oversee IMRB business. The secretary agreed to establish a IMRB website and also explore branding options and the adoption of an organizational logo.
