Germany (September 6-10, 2015)
The theme of the 7th IMRB Conference held in Hanover, Germany was “ Meet Experts and Friends in Germany”. The conference included visits to several underground mining operations and an optional cultural tour of Lubeck where participants had an opportunity to visit the Drager manufacturing headquarters.
This was the first IMRB conference where concurrent sessions were held and also a stream specifically dedicated to mining academia which addressed various mine rescue research topics. Several papers were presented by mining students which showed how knowledgeable these young people and chow they will help shape future of mines rescue.
