South Africa, Sun City (October 1 – 5, 2023)

The 11th IMRB conference was held in Sun City, South Africa and was aligned with the 100th anniversary of Mines Rescue Services, South Africa.  SA MRS was the first IMRB nation to repeat as host and they did not disappoint attendees.

Registrants that opted for the extended program were treated to a tour of Capetown in vintage automobiles followed by a motorcycle ride across the gorgeous landscape.

A total of 654 individuals participated at the conference where 21 papers from 9 nations were presented.
