The 11th IMRC was held in Ekterinburg Russia where 24 teams from 12 nations gathered to compete. Again there were several International Competition firsts including an “all ladies” team from Canada competed, a team from Africa participated, a relay event was added to the competition and every continent where mining is actively taking place had a least one team in competition.
Results of the competition were as follows:

Second Place:
N.a. Rubana Mine, SUEK-Kuzbass (VMRT), Russia
Third Place:
Professional Mine Rescue Service Komir, Kazakhstan
